Peksater
Peksater (also Pekerslo) was a Nubian queen of Egypt’s Twenty-fifth Dynasty. She was the daughter of King Kashta and Queen Pebatjma, and some scholars think Pebatjma raised her as an adopted daughter. She was the wife of Pharaoh Piye and is shown with him in a relief in the Amun Temple at Barkal, where Piye is depicted as a high priest before the barque of Amun. Peksater was buried in Abydos, Egypt, where parts of a lintel, three doorjambs and a stela were found naming her as the king’s daughter, the king’s wife, and the great king’s wife. The name also appears as Pekerslo.
