Patay (cake)
Patay is a dry cake made from algarrobo flour. It is a traditional food of the indigenous peoples of northwestern Argentina and Paraguay, and it is still eaten in those regions today. Patay is nutritious: it provides energy and is rich in protein, minerals, and vitamins, while being low in fat.
