Giles Hiram Day
Giles Hiram Day (September 18, 1839 – October 29, 1909) was an American politician who served as the second mayor of Fort Worth, Texas. Born in Vermont to Hiram Benjamin Day and Elizabeth Brown, he was mayor from November 10, 1874, to August 8, 1878. He died in Fort Worth in 1909 at the age of 70 and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery.
