The bull pipefish (Syngnathus springeri) is a pipefish, a relative of the seahorse. It lives in the western Atlantic, from southern Canada to Panama, in subtropical, reef-associated waters. It can grow up to about 38 centimeters (15 inches) long. The species is listed as Least Concern by the IUCN, meaning it is not currently at risk of extinction. The binomial name is Syngnathus springeri, described by Herald in 1942.
