Surcoufia
Surcoufia is a genus of horse flies in the family Tabanidae. It belongs to the subfamily Chrysopsinae and the tribe Chrysopsini, within the order Diptera (true flies). The genus was named by Kröber in 1922, with Surcoufia paradoxa as the type species. A synonym for Surcoufia is Heterosilvius, described by Olsufjev in 1970.
