Pandoraea pnomenusa is a Gram-negative bacterium in the genus Pandoraea. It belongs to the family Burkholderiaceae, order Burkholderiales, class Betaproteobacteria, and phylum Pseudomonadota. The species was described in 2000 by Coenye and colleagues. Type strains used in labs include ATCC BAA-63 and DSM 16536.
