Off Kilter (band)
Off Kilter is a Celtic rock band from Florida that started in 1997. They played regularly at Epcot from their formation until September 27, 2014. Their first album, Off Kilter, mixed traditional tunes like Dirty Old Town and Fields of Athenry with rock covers such as Takin' Care of Business and Summer of '69, and they also covered Battlefield Band's The Rovin' Dies Hard.
Their final Epcot performance was announced on August 28, 2014 for September 27, 2014. A lumberjack-inspired show at the Canada pavilion followed, but that replacement was canceled in November 2015. Off Kilter announced they were disbanding on December 11, 2021.
Band members were Jamie Holton (bagpipes, penny whistle, vocals) from Ormond Beach, Florida; Mark Weldon (bass, vocals) from Cork, Ireland; Randy Holbrook (guitar, vocals) from Richmond, Kentucky; and Scott Zymowski (drums, vocals) from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A former member was Tony Escapa (keyboards) from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, who later led EscapeFM and studied at Inter-American University and Berklee College of Music.
