Płock Land
Płock Land was a historic administrative region in the Masovia area of Poland, with its capital at Płock. It covered about 3,983 square kilometers. It existed as a separate land in the Kingdom of Poland until 1495, and from 1495 to 1793 it was part of the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland and later the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth as the Płock Voivodeship. The land was divided into counties—four in the early period and five from the 1530s onward. Sierpc County was created in the 1530s from Bielsk County. In 1793, the territory became part of South Prussia during the partitions of Poland.
