Outline of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church or Mormon Church) is a Christian restorationist church. Its members believe it is the restoration of the original church founded by Jesus Christ. The church is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and has congregations around the world called wards or branches, plus temples worldwide. It is the largest denomination in the Latter-day Saint movement, which began with Joseph Smith during the Second Great Awakening in the United States.
