Oriens gola, the common dartlet, is a small butterfly in the skipper family (Hesperiidae). It has a wingspan of about 22–27 mm. The upper wings are dark brown with yellowish‑orange to amber bands on both forewings and hindwings, outlined by black shading on the underside. The underside bands are not darkened, and the yellow is more extensive on the hindwings.
This species is found from Sri Lanka and across India (Kumaon, Sikkim, Assam) to Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo and Sumatra.
The larvae (caterpillars) feed on grasses, including Imperata and Paspalum species, as well as Ottochloa nodosa.
