Oreolalax liangbeiensis
Oreolalax liangbeiensis, the Liangbei toothed toad, is a small frog in the Megophryidae family that is endemic to China. It is known only from the area around its type locality, Puxiong town in Yuexi County, Sichuan, where it has been found in a single stream within subtropical moist montane forests and adjacent rivers. The species is Critically Endangered due to habitat loss and its very restricted distribution.
Males reach about 52 mm in snout-vent length, while females grow to about 60 mm. Tadpoles are around 61 mm long.
Taxonomy: It was described in 1979 by Liu & Fei and has also been classified as Scutiger liangbeiensis in some classifications.
