The Order of National Glory is the Republic of China’s highest military award. It was established on November 8, 1937 and is awarded by the President of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to military personnel. The medal features a golden eight-pointed star, a red Maltese cross with a plum blossom between its arms, and an eagle with outstretched wings in the center. The award is currently active. In precedence, it sits below the Honour Sabre of the Awakened Lion and above the Order of Blue Sky and White Sun. In Chinese, it is 國光勳章 (Traditional) or 国光勋章 (Simplified); pinyin Guóguāng Xūnzhāng.
