One Shocking Moment

One Shocking Moment is a 1965 American film written and directed by Ted V. Mikels. It was his third feature as a director and is a sexploitation drama. The story follows a young newlywed couple who move to the city and become involved in a fast-paced, reckless life. The film was originally titled A Suburban Affair and was made for a Phoenix theater, where Mikels says it set some records. It is one of the few Mikels films that includes nudity and sex scenes; Mikels later explained that he grew up Catholic and did not want to put sex in his films.
