Olympus FE-340 is a compact digital camera by Olympus, released in February 2008. It has an 8-megapixel CCD sensor and a 5× optical zoom (6.3–31.5 mm, equivalent to 36–180 mm in 35 mm terms). The lens aperture ranges from f/3.5 to f/5.6. Photos can be stored on xD Picture Cards or the built-in 48 MB memory. ISO settings range from 64 to 3200. It features a built-in flash, a 2.7-inch color LCD with live preview, and automatic exposure with digital metering. The camera is about 97 × 58 × 23 mm and weighs around 116 g without battery or memory. It uses a rechargeable Li-ion battery (LI-42B) and was made in Vietnam. The FE-340 can also record video.
