Okanagan Boundary
Okanagan Boundary was a federal electoral district in British Columbia, Canada. It existed from 1953 to 1979 and sent Members of Parliament to the House of Commons.
creation and abolition
- Created in 1952 from parts of Kamloops and Yale ridings.
- First represented in 1953.
- Abolished in 1976 and redistributed into Fraser Valley East, Kootenay West, Okanagan North, and Okanagan—Similkameen.

election highlights
- The riding elected MPs from several parties over the years, including CCF, Social Credit, Liberal, and Progressive Conservative.
- In the 1974 election, George Whittaker (PC) won with 43.17% of the vote, followed by Liberal John Dyck and others.
- In the 1972 election, Whittaker (PC) won again, with Liberal Bruce Howard and NDP Bryan McIver also running.
- Earlier elections saw a mix of party representation, reflecting changing political support in the region.
