Odontotaenius striatopunctatus is a beetle in the Passalidae family. It lives in Latin America and makes its home in decaying wood. This species shows subsocial behavior, with parental care for the young: parents pre-digest food for larvae and help repair cocoons. It was first described by Percheron in 1835.
