Ocean Drive (band)
Ocean Drive is a French dance music band formed in 2008 by French producers Nicolas Carel and Just Uman. They have built a European presence with electronic dance and pop music, releasing the album With the Sunshine and several singles in France, Belgium and Switzerland. The group collaborates with vocalist Gilles Luka (formerly of Galleon and Luka), as well as DJ Oriska, Smartzee, and Aylar Lie, a Norwegian singer of Iranian origin. Carel and Uman started the project after meeting in a Miami nightclub, naming the band after Ocean Drive in South Beach, Miami. In May 2010 they signed with the British label Dance Nation to release music in Britain, debuting there with a remake of "Some People" featuring Aylar Lie.
