A junk shop is a store that mainly sells used items at low prices, like a thrift shop. Some low-quality antiques may be called junk shops. People who shop there are often called junkers, pickers, bargain hunters, or rummagers. Junk shops are sometimes shown on reality TV shows such as American Pickers, Canadian Pickers (Cash Cowboys in Canada), and Ghost Town Gold. Junkshop glam is a music term for rare 1970s glam rock vinyl records that were not widely released or played. These records are often found in junk shops and thrift stores, and today some collectors pay high prices for them.
