San Basilio, Sardinia
San Basilio is a small town in Sardinia, Italy. It belongs to the Metropolitan City of Cagliari and sits about 35 km north of Cagliari. The area covers about 44.9 square kilometers. As of December 2004, about 1,371 people lived there, giving a population density of around 30 inhabitants per square kilometer. San Basilio borders the towns of San Nicolò Gerrei, Sant'Andrea Frius, Senorbì, Silius, and Siurgus Donigala. In the Sardinian language, the town is called Santu 'Asili 'e Monti.
