László Gergely

László Gergely, also known as Geiger (20 January 1916 – 10 March 1946), was a Hungarian ice hockey player. Born in Budapest, then part of Austria-Hungary, he played as a right winger for Budapest clubs including BKE and Ferencvárosi TC, and for Hungary’s national team from 1935 to 1937. He competed for Hungary at the 1936 Winter Olympics and in several World Championships. His brother András Gergely was also an ice hockey player and played with him at the Olympics. László Gergely died on 10 March 1946 at the age of 30.
