North Mayo (UK Parliament constituency)
North Mayo was a UK Parliament constituency in Ireland from 1885 to 1922. It elected one Member of Parliament (MP) by first-past-the-post. Before 1885, the area was part of the Mayo constituency, which had two MPs. From 1922, with the creation of the Irish Free State, it was no longer represented in the UK Parliament. The constituency covered the northern part of County Mayo: the baronies of Erris and Tirawley and the part of the barony of Gallen that lies in the parishes of Attymass and Kilgarvan.
