No. 230 Operational Conversion Unit RAF

No. 230 OCU was a Royal Air Force unit that trained crews to operate bomber aircraft.

- Formed 15 March 1947 at RAF Lindholme from No. 1653 Heavy Conversion Unit RAF to convert crews to Avro Lancaster, Avro Lincoln, and de Havilland Mosquito bombers.
- Disbanded 15 August 1952 to become the Reserve Training Squadron RAF.
- Re-formed at RAF Upwood from the Lincoln Conversion Flight RAF, training Lincoln bomber crews until 1 February 1955, then became Lincoln Conversion Flight again.
- Re-formed 31 May 1956 at RAF Waddington; trained crews for the Avro Vulcan.
- Moved to RAF Finningley in 1961, then to RAF Scampton in 1969, remaining there until disbandment in 1981.
- Hastings Radar Flight attached from 1974–1977 (previously Strike Command Bombing School, before that Bomber Command Bombing School).
