Nirmala Bhati (born 1999) is an Indian kho kho player from Rajasthan. She plays as a Wazir for India’s women’s kho kho team. She helped India win the first Kho Kho World Cup in New Delhi in January 2025, beating Nepal 78–40 in the final. The team also defeated South Korea, Iran and Malaysia in the group stage, Bangladesh in the quarterfinals, and South Africa in the semifinals. Bhati comes from Parewadi village in Nagaur district and studies at Chandigarh University. She was named the Best Player of the World Cup and was warmly welcomed back to her village. She is one of the senior players on the team and has worked in sports administration, even coaching New Zealand in preparation for the Delhi World Cup.
