Nimrod Snoddy
Nimrod Snoddy (July 4, 1821 – May 16, 1886) was an African American preacher and a member of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. He lived in Greene County, Alabama, and was active in Clinton as an elder preacher later in life. During the Reconstruction era, he was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in 1876, representing Greene County. By 1870 he owned substantial property in Greene County.
