Vavveru is a village in Buchireddypalem Mandal, Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh, India. It sits on the eastern shore of the Kanigiri Reservoir, about 13 kilometers northwest of Nellore and 5 kilometers north of Buchireddypalem. The village covers 30.14 square kilometers and is about 27 meters above sea level. Its coordinates are approximately 14.561°N, 79.873°E.

Geography
Vavveru lies at the mouth of Alluru Kaluva as it enters the Kanigiri Reservoir. Mullapudi is to the north, Isakapalem to the east, and Buchireddypalem to the south. The elevation is around 27 meters.

According to the 2011 India Census, Vavveru has 8,903 households and a population of 33,803 (16,691 males and 17,112 females). The literacy rate is 66.96%, with 12,115 literate males and 10,518 literate females. The census location code is 591915.
