Harry Havelock (rugby union)
Henry Havelock (1879–1923) was an English rugby player. Born in Hartlepool, England, he was a strong wing-forward who played for Hartlepool and Durham County. He earned three England caps in 1908. He later switched to rugby league and joined Hull for the 1908–09 season. He served in World War I with the Royal Garrison Artillery in France. After the war, he worked as a joiner. He died from blood poisoning in 1923, after grazing his leg while working at Alexandra Dock in Hull. His son, P. H. W. Havelock, became a professional footballer for several Football League clubs.
