Nikolai Efimovich Kuznetsov

Nikolai Efimovich Kuznetsov (1879–1970) was a Russian painter and theatre designer who lived through the Russian Empire and the Soviet era. He studied with Valentin Serov and Konstantin Korovin. Kuznetsov showed his work with the Jack of Diamonds group from 1916 to 1918 and was a member of the Free Art Society from 1915 to 1922. He began designing for the theatre in 1917, and his work continued to be exhibited after the Revolution.
