Nikola Mirotić is a Montenegrin-born, naturalized Spanish basketball player who currently plays for AS Monaco in France’s LNB Pro A and the EuroLeague. He is a power forward/center who stands about 6 feet 10 inches tall.

Born on February 11, 1991 in Titograd (now Podgorica), Montenegro, Mirotić started his professional career with Real Madrid in 2008 and became a EuroLeague rising star in 2011. He was drafted 23rd overall in 2011 by the Houston Rockets and later moved to the NBA, where he played for the Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Pelicans, and Milwaukee Bucks before returning to Europe in 2019 with FC Barcelona. With Barcelona, he won the EuroLeague MVP in 2022 and earned multiple All-EuroLeague honors.

In 2023, he joined Olimpia Milano, and in 2025 he signed with AS Monaco. Internationally, Mirotić played for Spain, helping them win EuroBasket gold in 2015 and a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics. He retired from the Spanish national team in January 2023.

Off the court, he is married to Nina Vujačić, and they have a son. He is of Serb ethnicity and Orthodox Christian, and he received the Order of St. Sava in 2017 for his contributions to sport and culture.
