Nikki Hiltz is an American middle-distance runner who specializes in the 1500 meters and the mile. They were born on October 23, 1994, in Santa Cruz, California, and competed in college for the Oregon Ducks and the Arkansas Razorbacks. They came out as transgender and nonbinary in 2021.

Hiltz holds the American mile record (4:16.35, set in Monaco in 2023) and, by 2025, had won eight consecutive U.S. titles in the mile and 1500m. They won a silver medal in the 1500m at the 2024 World Indoor Championships in Glasgow and finished seventh in the 1500m final at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In 2024 they set an indoor American record in the 1000m with 2:34.09 at the UW Invitational. They won the 1500m at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials, earning a spot on the Olympic team. In 2025, Hiltz became the first to win five consecutive U.S. titles in the 1500m (indoor and outdoor) and also won the 1500m at Memorial Van Damme in the Diamond League. They finished fifth in the 1500m final at the 2025 World Athletics Championships, the top American in the race. On February 1, 2026, they won the Wanamaker Mile at Millrose Games with an indoor personal best of 4:19.64.

Off the track, Hiltz founded Pride 5k, a charity race that has raised funds for The Trevor Project. They live in Flagstaff, Arizona with their dog Scout and are in a relationship with Emma Gee. Hiltz had top surgery in September 2024. Sponsorships have included Adidas (2018–2021) and Lululemon (2022–present).
