New Mexico State University Golf Course
New Mexico State University Golf Course is an 18-hole public course on the NMSU campus in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Established in 1963, it is owned and operated by the university. The course measures 7,078 yards from the longest tees, is a par 72, with a slope rating of 129 and a USGA rating of 72.7. It offers four sets of tees to suit different skill levels and is the home course for the NMSU Aggies men’s and women’s golf teams. The facility hosts NMSU’s PGA Golf Management program, which is the only such program in New Mexico and is accredited by the PGA. The program is part of the College of Business, offering a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with a PGA Golf Management emphasis. The course also serves as the cross country course for NMSU’s teams and hosted the 2017 Western Athletic Conference cross country championship.
