Nazish Jahangir
Nazish Jahangir (born 28 April 1994) is a Pakistani television actress from Islamabad. She is known for playing Zoya in Thays, Faiza in Tohmat, Nimra in Kam Zarf, and Shameela in Kahin Deep Jaley. She is also a mental health awareness activist. Jahangir studied fine arts and fashion design. Encouraged by her professor Jamal Shah, founder of Hunerkada, she moved to Karachi in 2015 to pursue performing arts and began doing commercial theatre with Anwar Maqsood. She made her TV debut in 2017 with Bharosa and has since appeared in many dramas including Kahin Deep Jaley, Alif, Allah Aur Insaan, Tohmat, Thays, Kam Zardari, Beparwah, Dard Rukta Nahi, Ghamandi, Inaam-e-Mohabbat, Berukhi, Teri Behisi, Saraab and Meray Mohsin. In 2020 she revealed she has suffered from PTSD for about ten years. Jahangir made her film debut in 2022 opposite Sami Khan in Lafengay, and appeared in the 2024 romantic comedy Poppay Ki Wedding with Khushhal Khan. She has been nominated for Best Emerging Talent in TV at the Lux Style Awards and has graced the covers of several Pakistani magazines.
