2018 WSF Championship: The first edition of the World Snooker Federation's amateur snooker championship took place from 18 to 24 March 2018 at the Dolmen Hotel in Qawra, Malta. Organized by WSFT, the event had a total prize fund of €28,300, with the winner receiving €10,300. The highest break was 131, made by Igor Figueiredo. Luo Honghao won the title, defeating Adam Stefanow 6–0 in the final. The tournament also served as a qualifier for the World Snooker Tour: the four semi-finalists earned invitations to the 2018 World Snooker Championship, and the two finalists earned Main Tour Cards for the 2018/2019 season. It was televised in Malta on TVM2. The competition included group stages and knockout rounds, with matches generally played as best-of-seven frames.
