Nancy Guy is an American politician and Democrat who served in the Virginia House of Delegates for the 83rd district from January 2020 to January 2022. A native of the 83rd district, she earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of William & Mary and a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia. She lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, before returning to Virginia Beach, where she served on the school board and helped run a real estate partnership. After a battle with breast cancer, she focused on her family and beliefs and closed the partnership. She is active in her local church and has held education roles at the local and state levels. In 2019, she challenged incumbent Republican Chris Stolle for the 83rd district and won after a recount, finishing with a small margin (she had 49.97% of the vote before the recount). In the 2021 election, she was defeated by Republican Tim Anderson, who won 51% of the vote. She is married to Richard Guy. Website: https://guyfordelegate.com/
