Namua is a small, uninhabited island off the east coast of Upolu in Samoa, in the central South Pacific Ocean. It is part of the Aleipata Islands and is owned by the Samoan government. The island covers about 0.18 square kilometers (0.069 square miles) and has a coastline of about 2.1 kilometers. It is a short 10-minute boat ride from Upolu and offers beach fale accommodations for visitors. There are several scenic lookout points, and it takes around an hour to walk around the island. Endangered fruit bats live at the top of Namua. Namua is in the Atua district and uses Western Samoa Time (UTC+13; UTC+14 in daylight saving).
