Nami Urabe is a former Japanese professional tennis player. She was born on August 29, 1978, in Saitama, Japan, and plays right-handed. As a junior, she was one of Japan’s top players and reached the girls’ doubles final at the 1995 Australian Open with Saori Obata. On the professional tour, her best doubles result on the WTA Tour was a quarterfinal at the 1995 Japan Women's Open. She won eight doubles titles on the ITF Women’s Circuit. Her career-high rankings were No. 399 in singles (May 4, 1998) and No. 176 in doubles (November 24, 1997). She earned about $30,693 in prize money.
