Namadhu Amma
Namadhu Amma (Our Mother) is a Tamil daily newspaper started in Chennai on 24 February 2018 by Edappadi K. Palaniswami. It is the official newspaper of the AIADMK and is published by R. Chandrasekhar, with at least 12 pages each day. The launch marked the 70th birthday of former AIADMK leader J. Jayalalithaa. The first editor was Marudu Alaguraj, who led the paper from 2018 until his resignation in June 2022 in protest against the party’s single leadership. Since 6 August 2022, S. Kalyanasundaram has been editor-in-chief. Namadhu Amma publishes AIADMK government and party news in Tamil from its office in Alwarpet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
