NGC 2170
NGC 2170 is a small reflection nebula in the constellation Monoceros. It shines by reflecting light from nearby stars. It was discovered by William Herschel on October 16, 1784. The nebula sits at J2000 coordinates RA 06h 07m 31.3s, Dec −06° 23′ 53″, and measures about 2.0 by 2.0 arcminutes.
