Mzingani
Mzingani is a ward in Tanga City Council, Tanga Region, Tanzania. It covers 8.1 square kilometers and sits about 7 meters above sea level. The population was 29,041 at the 2012 census, and the postal code is 21102.
Location and boundaries:

- East: Pemba Channel
- South: Tangasisi
- West: Mabawa, Makorora, and Usagara wards
Overview:
Mzingani is the ancestral home of the Digo and Segeju communities. The ward has its own administration building, including a court under the Ward Tribunal Act of 1988, and other local government offices.
Government and administration:
- The ward is the smallest democratic unit in Tanzania.
- It has a committee of eight elected council members, a chairperson, one salaried officer (non-voting), and an executive officer.
- One-third of the seats are reserved for women councillors.
- The ward is divided into neighborhoods called Mitaa.
