Music Bank is a South Korean music TV show that airs on KBS2 every Friday at 17:15. It began on June 18, 1998 and is still on the air. Each episode runs about 90 minutes and is produced by the KBS Entertainment Production Department at the KBS New Wing Open Hall in Yeouido, Seoul. The program is broadcast worldwide through KBS World and has hosted the Music Bank World Tour in many countries since 2011, reaching a large global audience.

K-Chart and how the show works
- The show features a weekly countdown called K-Chart. The Top 50 songs are shown, with the Top 20–Top 3 highlighted on screen and the Top 2 announced at the start.
- The No. 1 song of the week wins a Music Bank award.
- There are also special awards, like the First Half 1st Place and the year-end MVP.

Past formats and changes
- The show has evolved a lot since its start. It used to feature category-based charts and live performances, and has shifted between live and recorded formats over the years.
- In 2008, the K-Chart countdown became the main chart. The episode length and airing times changed several times, with live broadcasts returning in 2007 and longer show formats in later years.
- In 2010 and beyond, the show expanded its global reach, including live broadcasts to many countries and English-language versions in some regions.

Hosts
- As of 2024, the hosts are Park Min-ju and Moon Sang-min. Many famous stars have hosted the show in the past, including Song Hye-kyo, Rain, Ji Sung, Song Joong-ki, Park Seo-joon, Irene, Park Bo-gum, and others.
