Legerwood, North Carolina
Legerwood is an unincorporated community in Caldwell County, North Carolina, United States. It is located along North Carolina Highway 268, about 7 miles north of Lenoir. The area sits at about 1,289 feet (393 meters) above sea level. The Patterson School Historic District in Legerwood is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
