The Museum of the University of Wrocław in Wrocław, Poland, shows many historic objects from the University of Wrocław. It opened on 6 August 1992 when the University Archives’ Museum Collection Department became an independent unit. A separate department, the House of Archeologists, at Koszarowa 3 (building 8), was opened on 13 May 2005 for temporary archaeological exhibitions.

The museum is on the Odra riverbank, in the university’s main Baroque building at Uniwersytecki Square 1. This building, designed by Christoph Tausch, is a notable Baroque monument in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.

Its halls focus on the university’s history from the 15th century to today. The oldest items still have notes from the Leopoldina Academy, though most pieces date from after 1811.

The director is Prof. Dr. hab. Jan Harasimowicz. Public transit access includes trams 3, 5, 7, 14 and 23. For more information, visit muzeum.uni.wroc.pl.
