Gabriel Enzo Ferrari (born September 1, 1988) is a former American soccer player who played as a striker. He was born in New York City to a Brazilian mother and an Italian American father, and he has American, Brazilian, and Italian citizenship. He speaks English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian.

Youth and early career
Ferrari started at Blau Weiss Gottschee, winning four New York State championships. He played high school soccer at Saint Benedict’s Preparatory School in Newark, New Jersey, and joined the MetroStars (now the New York Red Bulls) youth system. He captained the U-16 MetroStars to the North American Championship. He initially planned to study at the University of Connecticut but chose to sign with Sampdoria in Italy in 2007.

Professional career
Sampdoria signed Ferrari in January 2007. He made his first appearance on February 1, 2007, in a Coppa Italia match against Inter Milan, but he never played in Serie A. He spent time on loan to Perugia (2008-09; 14 appearances, 1 goal), Foggia (2009-10; 14 appearances, 0), and Ternana (2010; 5 appearances, 1). In September 2010 he moved to AC Bellinzona in Switzerland and was loaned to Wohlen (2010-11; 6 appearances, 1). On March 24, 2011, he signed with Chicago Fire in Major League Soccer. He debuted for Chicago on June 18, 2011, as a substitute in a 1-1 draw with New England. He was released by Chicago on December 7, 2011.

International career
Ferrari has represented the United States at the youth level. He played for the U.S. under-20 team, earning four caps and scoring three goals, including the game-winning goal in his U-20 debut in a 2-1 victory over Haiti in Frisco, Texas. He was part of the U.S. squad at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup and was named to the 22-player squad for the 2008 Toulon Tournament.
