Muhammad Imara
Muhammad ʿImāra (8 December 1931 – 28 February 2020) was an Egyptian Islamic thinker, author and editor. He was a member of Al-Azhar's Academy of Islamic Research in Cairo. Imara wrote more than 100 books on Islamic philosophy, the Qur’an, politics and other intellectual topics. His life and work are discussed by scholars, including Khaled Abou El Fadl in The Prophet’s Pulpit: Commentaries on the State of Islam, where he honors Imara’s contributions.
