Moussa Diagana
Moussa Diagana (1946–2018) was a Mauritanian writer who wrote in French and also worked as a screenwriter. He was born in M’Bout, Mauritania, in 1946. He studied in Nouakchott, Tunisia, and at the Sorbonne in Paris, and he later worked in Mali. Diagana wrote theatre plays, including La Légende du Wagadu, vue par Sïa Yatabéré (1988) and Targuiya (2001). He died on 15 January 2018.
