Moreland (Bethesda, Maryland)
Moreland is a historic house in Bethesda, Maryland, in Montgomery County, United States. Built around 1894, it is a 2.5-story Colonial Revival frame dwelling. It was the summer home of Samuel E. Wheatley, a Washington, D.C. businessman and former District of Columbia Commissioner, and his family owned it from 1894 until 1944. Moreland was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005 (NRHP reference number 05000877). The house sits at 7810 Moorland Lane, Bethesda, on about 0.5 acres. Its coordinates are approximately 38.9878°N, 77.1108°W. A photo from 2012 shows Moreland.
