Echinosphaeria

Echinosphaeria is a genus of fungi in the family Helminthosphaeriaceae. It is part of the order Chaetosphaeriales, class Sordariomycetes, division Ascomycota, within the kingdom Fungi.

The genus was defined by A. N. Mill. and Huhndorf in 2004. The type species is Echinosphaeria canescens.
