Orlando Casares
Orlando Casares was an Argentine football coach. He is best known for managing South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs in 1983. He was the father of Matias Casares, who leads the Haitian Soccer Association in Fort Lauderdale. In 1983, he became Kaizer Chiefs’ head coach and led them to that year’s Datsun Challenge, but clashed with former coach Banks Setlhodi and the team had poor league results, which led to his dismissal. He was unpopular with several players who questioned his qualifications.
