Monestier-du-Percy
Monestier-du-Percy is a small commune in southeastern France, in the Isère department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It is part of the Grenoble arrondissement and the Matheysine-Trièves canton. The town covers about 115 square kilometers and had 254 residents in 2023, making it a very sparsely populated area. The landscape is mountainous, with elevations ranging from 597 to 1,896 meters (average around 804 meters). The postal code is 38930 and the INSEE code is 38243. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Robert Cuchet. It used to be called Le Monestier-du-Percy until December 31, 2022. The time zone is CET (UTC+1) in winter and CEST (UTC+2) in summer.
