Aspergillus arcoverdensis
Aspergillus arcoverdensis is a fungus in the genus Aspergillus. It belongs to the Fumigati section and was first described in 2015 by Y. Horie, Matsuzawa, Yaguchi and Camp.-Takaki. In the lab, it is grown on Czapek yeast extract agar (CYA) and Malt Extract Agar Oxoid (MEAOX) to study its growth and appearance, which are shown in the accompanying images.
