Ramona DeSouza, better known as Moné, is an American singer and songwriter. She had three big hits on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart: “We Can Make It” reached No. 1 in 1995, “Movin’” reached No. 2 in 1996, and “Partay Feeling” (as B-Crew with Barbara Tucker, Dajae, Ultra Nate and Moné) reached No. 22 in 1997. In the UK, “We Can Make It” reached No. 64 in 1995 and “Movin’” reached No. 48 in 1996, each for one week. In 2010, she appeared on E!’s documentary series “What’s Eating You,” where she received therapy for bulimia nervosa tied to adjustable gastric band surgery. During the show, she recorded “A Brighter Day” for Techntoniks Recordings.
